About me
I am a Washington state LICSW with a 30-year career in medical social work. In July 2022, I retired from the role of Director, Patient Quality of Life Services at Northwest Kidney Center and now work privately as a clinical supervisor and consultant.
I have worked in both acute settings and outpatient clinics, serving chronically ill patients and their families. Earlier this year (2024), I became a Board member of Peoples Memorial Association, a nonprofit that promotes end-of-life planning, deathcare pricing transparency, and advocates for the rights of Washingtonians to receive end of life services that match their values and resources.
Additionally, I have an MBA with a focus on nonprofit management.
I am Asian-American and am dedicated to supporting other people of color in direct patient care or Social Services administration.
